Costume & Fashion Design

After earning a degree in Fashion Design, my love of textiles and history combined together into a career path in costume design.  I worked in theater, television, movies and commericals.  My favorite jobs were those with some aspect of historical costume design and research.  I lead teams of wardrobe stylists, sewers, pattern makers, costume assistants and set costumers.  Working closely with directors on creative character design was my passion, as well as the technical aspects of the role with script breakdowns, continuity and of course, working with actors across all ages, races and shapes and sizes!

I also have designed and built a number of bridal gowns, dance outfits and other fashion related projects.
